How Do We Get Started?
Registration is required.
Beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7th,
click HERE for the online Registration Form.
Include your COMPLETE mailing address,
because I will need contact information for future SRP mailings.
Also, include what each child's grade will be this fall.
You will receive an online confirmation that your registration has been received.
What Happens Next?
Shortly thereafter, I will contact you to pick up your child's SRP STARTER KIT,
including an official SRP Reading Booklet, a welcoming letter,
and a paperback book (geared toward their grade level) to keep.
This book could serve as their first entry!
As children listen to or read ten library books,
they list each title on this designated booklet.
Reading Goal
A child will read ten or twenty Tecumseh District Library books
on their reading level that they have never read before.
Young children who cannot yet read may listen to
ten or twenty Tecumseh District Library books as "Read-to-Me's".
Tweens going into 5th and 6th grades have their own SRP called TWEEN TEAM.
=====================================================================================
I encourage you to use Tecumseh District Library Children's Books
as the source for the titles you list on the SRP Booklet.
